Seasonal notes - Spring part 2

Repotting

Most deciduous trees should now be repotted. The native trees including Banksias and figs are commonly repotted now and into late spring.

Pines and conifers should be finished by this time of year. These trees can still be wired but I do not recommend heavy cutting followed up by wiring then repot vall at once. Avoid pruning thee roots onpines if the candles are producing needles.

Evergreen flowering trees such as Azaleas and Gardenias are best repotted as soon as they have finished flowering. Remember to start your fertilising as soon as they have finished flowering.

Rotate your trees every couple of weeks so all sides get full exposure to the sun to ensure even growth
